
Today’s topic is our real goal in parenting. When asked how they hope their children will grow up, many parents answer “I hope they’ll be happy”. But happiness is NOT something you can get on its own: it’s the result of doing other things. So what are the most important things you can teach your children? I’ll tell you.
Parenting is a very broad topic, and this will not be the only time we discuss it. In fact, the next time we talk about parenting will be to discuss why I believe parenting issues are at the heart of why there is SOME truth to “shirtsleeves to shirtsleeves in three generations.” But that’s for another day!
